Daddy, Norah, Isabella, and William - celebrating Daddy's birthday!
Cute little guy in the tub
Bella got a new haircut- and has bangs now!
Norah got her haircut too - and her bangs cut :)
William hanging out in the tent the girls made between their bedsIt's funny, the concept of a "normal" schedule. For our family that means multiple therapies throughout the week, frequent doctor's visits, and the standard craziness that a house of toddlers and a baby creates...and we couldn't be happier because it means we are home together.
The nice thing about this winter (nice for now, we'll see how nice it is this spring and summer when the bugs are bad!) has been the weather. We've gotten to spend a lot of time outside and the kids have had a great time. Such a great time that we decided to add to the family...we got a new puppy a few weeks ago. Brian has wanted an Alaskan Malamute for years, and the humane society had 2 puppies this week so after visiting them, we picked the one that didn't cause any breathing problems for our family - and named him Charlie. He is very cute, and will quickly become very large! The girls adore him and William thinks he is hilarious.
Norah's school has been battling a multitude of illnesses this month - in her classroom alone, they have the stomach flu, the flu, strep throat, and HMPV. The class has been so sick that her teacher and we agreed to keep her home until some of the illnesses have run their course. After spending a week in the hospital from HMPV, the last thing we need is another serious illness to put any of the children in the hospital. Here is to encouraging good hygiene! :)
Surprisingly the girls are getting along really well (typically a long stretch of time together equals more fighting - I'm sure other parents can attest :)!) and they are such a huge help with William. They love playing with him, reading to him, and he absolutely adores them. William is recovering from his surgery last month. It seems the surgery was successful *yay* but he had terrible regression as far as eating and drinking orally. It's going to be a while before he is eating the volume he was eating a month ago, but he'll get there.
Enjoy the pictures - the kids are getting so big!
